Now that winter has officially arrived in NYC we’re all dealing with extreme temperatures

and bone chilling wind gusts. Needless to say, our skin is totally hating it.

Here are some face masks you can make in the comfort of your own home to get that moisture back!

Hydrating Strawberry Facial

What you’ll need

10 fresh strawberries

¼ cup bee pollen (sold at health-food stores)

3 tablespoons raw honey

1 tablespoon olive oil mayonnaise

a few drops of lavender essential oil.

Apply to face and leave on for about 20 minutes.

Avocado & Egg White mask

What you’ll need

1 ripe mashed avocado

1 egg white

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

Mix all ingredients and apply to face for about 25 minutes.

Banana & Honey Facial
What you’ll need

1 fully ripe banana

2 tablespoons of organic honey

some freshly squeezed orange or lemon juice

Mix and mash until it has formed a smooth paste and apply to face for about 15 minutes.

Butter, Aloe & Oil Mask

What you’ll need

1 table spoon of aloe vera gel
1 tablespoon of coconut oil

1 tablespoon of Shea butter

Mix well and gently massage into your face for 15 minutes.

Don’t be fooled by your oily skin, in most cases it is actually dehydrated underneath,

and leads to oil overproduction. These masks can help normalize pores in sebum production.
For some extra natural hydrating power, you can always add dark organic honeyto any mask.

Honey is a great humectant, meaning it moisturizes and seals in the moisture inside your skin.
